Debs Chocolate Pudding

No one precisely knows who Deb is, but this is a rocking pudding.


Ingredients - Pudding

1 cup SR flour
½ cup sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
60 gram melted butter

Ingredients - Topping

1 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon cocoa
1 ¾ cup boiling water

Method

  1. Put dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Mix milk, egg, vanilla and melted butter and add to bowl.
  3. Beat for 30 seconds.
  4. Place in greased ovenproof bowl.
  5. Sprinkle sugar and cocoa over cake mixture. Slowly pour boiling water over.
  6. Cook in oven at 180C for 30-40 mins.
  7. Should be firm to touch with sauce beginning to form bubbles on edges.
  8. Sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve hot or cold.
