Review
I didn't know what to expect when selecting this movie from the video store (why do we still call them video stores!?).  I had never even heard of it.  I think I was expecting something a little bit 'I Am Legend'.   This movie was much slower, much dirtier, and more real. The point of this movie was the human element and not the action.

Watching humanity devolve was deeply disturbing - unsettling and all too real.  Similar to Children of Men, I could see that it was a short step between us now and the reality in the film.

Julianne Moore was simply stunning to watch in this movie - the plot revolves around her, and the calibre of her acting was wonderful.  I spent weeks after watching this movie thinking about how I would feel, how I would survive and what impact it would have on my psyche.

This movie is dirty to watch and will leave you feeling dirty, but in a very adult, intelligent, thought-provoking manner.
