Sewing Machines

I get a lot of feedback from clients about their sewing machines.

Many are understood and loved … others sit in the corner and wait until someone is willing to love them.

If you have a machine at home I want you to get to understand and know what it can do for you. As you learn how to thread the machines and make bobbins on my machines I encourage you to go home and read the manual and do the same.

As we learn more different needle positions, sewing guides and zipper feet I get you to go home and learn the same.

Sometimes I get you to bring your machine and manual to me and we oil her and get to know her together.

It doesn’t mean that your machine won’t have you feeing frustration, despair, anxiety and defeat at times, and it certainly doesn’t mean that you can throw the unpicker away.

Get to know your machine.
Pat her.
Be her friend.
And she will be yours.
