Sew ... La Te Do

I grew up with a mother who was a dressmaker and at 80 years old she is still a genius when it comes to understanding fabric.

My own personal love affair with fabric started however at about 8 years old when I went to see The Sound of Music with my Grandma Ida.

Sew...La Te Do .... I still can’t get enough of that scene. The children sing and frolic over the meadow... clothes made from curtain fabric ...  I just love fabric.

I just know what it needs.
